Last week, within the framework of the project “Accelerate SUNShINE” the representatives of Jūrmala City, Adazi, Tukums and Bauska Municipalities participated in a study tour to Salaspils, where a deep renovation of a multi-family residential building in Meža Street 7 and Daugavas Street 2 has occurred.
Before the renovated buildings visit, the study tour participants met in the Salaspils Siltums office, where they were introduced to the enterprises’ mission and heard recommendations for the organization of the building deep renovation projects from the project manager Renāte Bražinska. In the prepared presentation, the enterprise representative shared insights of Meža Street 7 and Daugavas Street 2 renovation steps and biggest challenges.
After the SIA Salaspils Siltums visit, the owners of multi-family residential buildings, local government representatives, as well as house elders went to see a fully renovated building at Meža Street 7, where they meet the building’s resident Olga, who shared her impressions about the deep renovation of the building. In addition to the above mentioned, the owner of the apartment presented the reasons for the motivation of other flat owners to agree to positive changes.
After the study tour of the building at Meža Street 7, the participants were able to see the long-awaited surprise – the opportunity to evaluate the largest deep renovation project in Latvia – the multi-family residential building at Daugavas Street 2. Within the framework of the event, under the guidance of a construction specialist, the study tour participants went on a small excursion of the building. All visitors were unanimous – the project was ambitious, it required a lot of effort and motivation, but the result of the renovation is worth it!
